Because that would make sense to call the moving companies the second you have any inkling of the possibility that you might be moving. The sooner the better because then you have all that time to sit around and compare and see what’s what and all and find that one thing that is just going to be perfect for you and your wallet.   2. Declutter and donate: Run your crap through and figure out what you want to keep and donate and throw away. It’s much more convenient to carry around and you won’t have so much to be concerned with at your new place.
  3. Pack carefully: Pack as soon as possible, and supply good boxes and packing materials. Label the boxes with their contents and the room location so unpacking is a breeze.
  4. Notify important parties: And all that shit, you’ll let your bank and credit card companies your new address. And update your address on driver’s license and registration.
  5. Hire a reputable moving company: Only then will a professional moving company make your move a much simpler, less stressful ordeal. ‘Get one with a track record, a reputation, and all the proper licences and insurance, and so on.

  3. Bubble Wrap: And packing all the glass and plates and electronics in bubble wrap or packing paper. This will help protect them from damage during transport.
  4. Packing Peanuts: Or, if there’s room in boxes, plain packing peanuts or air-filled packing bubbles so that nothing rattles on the way.
  5. Labels: Label each box with a marker or something so that it’s clear what’s in each box and what room it goes in. This will make unpacking much easier.
  6. Furniture Pads and Blankets: Simply fix some furniture pads and blankets all over so that your own furniture doesn’t get all messed up and scratched.

Yeah, Fabulous Movers is a licensed and insured mover. It must be a nightmare to give up all your stuff to a moving company, and that’s why we bust our butts to make sure that when our customers’ stuff does get to its destination, it’s still in the same condition that it left, and that the customer can sleep soundly every night knowing that the stuff he/she owns is in the hands that probably can take care of it the best.

When it comes to packing fragile items such as picture frames, artwork, and mirrors, it’s important to take extra care to ensure they are properly protected during transport. Unless you’ve got one of those boxes made for that stuff, these packing tips:.

  1. Use bubble wrap or packing paper: Put it in multiple layers of bubble wrap or packing paper, and tape it.
  2. Reinforce corners: Wrap the corners and other weak points with extra layers of bubble wrap or packing paper.
  3. Find a sturdy container: Find a strong box, just a little bigger than the thing to pack. Because if not, there’s room to pad more.
  4. Use padding: Put some padding (packing peanuts or crumpled paper) at the bottom of the box. Gently place it in the box, and stuff any open space with more packing material.
  5. Label the box: Once the item is packed, label the box as “Fragile” to ensure that it is handled with care during the move.
